The 3 User Roles in your Account
There are 3 types of user roles in any Yardman account.
1. The Account Owner
There can be only one Account Owner for each Yardman account. This is usually the person who first signed up or created the Yardman account.
What the Account Owner can do:
- Manage the account data and settings
- Manage yard topology including locations, yards, areas and places
- Manage movement plans and vehicle types
- Add new users
- Add bookings, visits, companies, people and vehicles
- Edit any bookings, visits, companies, people and vehicles
- Check-in and check-out assets from checkpoints
2. Admins
You can have multiple Account Admins in your account.
What Account Admins can do:
- View the account data and settings
- Manage yard topology including locations, yards, areas and places
- Manage movement plans and vehicle types
- Add new users
- Add bookings, visits, companies, people and vehicles
- Edit any bookings, visits, companies, people and vehicles
- Check-in and check-out assets from checkpoints
3. Users
This is the default role when a new user is added to the account.
What Account Users can do:
- View the account data and settings
- View yard topology including locations, yards, areas and places
- View movement plans and vehicle types
- View bookings, visits, companies, people and vehicles
- Check-in and check-out assets from checkpoints
