All data is written to high-end disks instantly, backed up daily, and stored in multiple locations. Our backups of your data are encrypted using GPG.
All credit card transactions are processed using secure encryption - the same level of encryption used by leading banks. Card information is transmitted, stored, and processed securely on a PCI-Compliant network.
However, we are not subject to PCI obligations. All payment instrument processing does the Stripe.
We force HTTPS for all Yardman services using TLS (SSL), including our public website. Whenever your data is in transit between you and us, everything is encrypted and sent using HTTPS.
A video-monitored, high-security perimeter surrounds the entire data center park. Entry is only possible via electronic access control terminals with a transponder key or admission card. All movements are recorded and documented. Ultra-modern surveillance cameras provide 24/7/365 monitoring of all access routes, entrances, security door interlocking systems, and server rooms.
Our server infrastructure uses modern techniques to remove bottlenecks and points of failure. Our software infrastructure is updated regularly with the latest security patches. Our products run on a network that is locked down with firewalls and carefully monitored.
We have a functioning, frequently used automation in place so that we can safely and reliably deploy changes to both our application and operating platform within minutes. We typically roll out code multiple times a week, so we have high confidence that we can get a security fix out quickly when required.
